My Mom & Duane got us one of those Showtime Rotisserie's from the infomercials a few years ago. Remember the "set it & forget it" slogan? Now when we use it & someone asks what's for dinner, we just say it's set it & forget it night!! This thing is seriously addictive to watch--we spend most of the time engrossed in watching our food spin 'round & 'round--it's the stupidest thing ever, but it's pretty fun! This particular evening we were making a turkey breast. Isn't Kate hilarious with her shades?!?!Monday, March 22, 2010
Set it & forget it!
Isn't Kate hilarious with her shades?!?!Napping? I don't think so.............

Little miss Kate thinks that now that she's 4 that she doesn't need a nap anymore. Here's what I found one evening after I thought she's taken a nap that afternoon! Notice the empty drawers! Her punishment was to put everything back in the appropriate drawers, and it took her a good hour. She was getting pretty whiny by the end of her task. Now she always says "Mommy, I will NOT play in my closet!" Lesson learned!Kate's 4th Birthday
I LOVE this picture! Look at that sweet little face! Pierce & Papa
Speedy got her some funny gifts!
I have no clue if I can rotate pictures! Troy is the computer savvy one LOL!
So we're gonna rewind a little bit & do a couple posts on what's happened since the beginning of the year. Kate turned 4 on January 31st. We had a little party for her & the theme was Hello Kitty. Our house has officially been taken over by everything Hello Kitty, especially Kate's wardrobe! Good thing it's cute! Kate got lots of games this year, and she also got swimming lessons, a new swimsuit & coverup, lots of clothes and a slew of other things!! She is one lucky little girl. Thank you everyone!Saturday, March 13, 2010
Why?

Sitting here thinking to myself "why am I starting this blog?" I am sitting in our recliner, & Troy is sitting on the couch with his feet propped up watching a movie. The kids are out cold in their beds. We have all, except for Troy, been sick this week :) I have been considering creating this blog for awhile, and with the urging of Troy's cousin, Crystal, I have decided to do it to record moments and events for our family. I think it is so easy to forget the little, seemingly mundane things in life, and I really want to be able to remember & capture those moments for my children and family. I hope everyone enjoys it as much as I know I will!
